The tomatoes have germinated!

We have at least 10 little green shoots with 2 leaves each on the kitchen windowsill!

We are now the proud owners of newly germinated, tomato, carrots, lettuce, peas & strawberry plants...chickens enroute...I'm converted to the good life (well a small modicum of it- no dungarees yet!) thanks to the ginormous pride of my 5 & 7 year olds at their growing handiwork!
You should really check out www.giyireland.com - whether it’s a windowsill herb planter or hopes of self-sufficiency these guys provide great advise. May turn into Barbara Good yet!
